Transformative Biomaterials and Biotechnology Laboratory (TBBL)

The Transformative Biomaterials and Biotechnology Lab (TBBL) investigates a methodology for functional biomaterial development and uses biomaterials as a tool to solve unmet clinical problems.

Current research focuses in the lab include:

  • Methodology for new biomaterial development
  • Soft and hard tissue engineering
  • Cancer drug delivery and imaging
  • Stem cell/biomaterial interactions
  • Micro/nano-medical device fabrication
  • Biosensing
